BROADCASTER BLUE SUITS ARE TAILOR-MADE FOR CRICKET UNITED DAY
A host of cricket commentators from Sky, BBC and Channel 5 are getting behind Cricket United Day on 22 August.
Geoffrey Boycott, David Gower, Simon Hughes, David Lloyd, Mark Nicholas and Graeme Swann have all agreed to wear specially made blue suits to support the charity day during the Fifth Investec Ashes Test at the Kia Oval.
Neil McCann, owner of McCann Bespoke, agreed to make the tailored suits for the broadcasters for free after hearing about the charitable initiative. He explained, “We’ve been involved in cricket for a number of years now and, as part of the ‘cricket family’, we wanted to do our bit for Cricket United. The blue suits are a great way for us and the commentators to show our support for this terrific cause.”
